New Statecraft Institute (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Transformative Leadership Initiative website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or submitting a form, you agree to this policy.

- Candidate sign-up details such as name, campaign email, office sought, state or district, party affiliation, and an optional message.
- Citizen interest details such as name, email, ZIP code, optional message, and whether you want news and updates.
- Donation-related details such as the gift amount you select and the contact or billing information you enter during checkout.
- Technical data that browsers and servers typically generate, such as IP address, browser type, referring pages, and timestamps.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Record and follow up on Accord signatory requests and citizen interest forms.
- Process donations and related acknowledgments.
- Send news or updates when you ask to receive them.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website and Initiative programs.
- Comply with legal, accounting, and nonprofit reporting obligations.
Payment processing
Donations are processed through Stripe Checkout. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers on this website. Card and payment details are handled by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy. We may receive limited donor and transaction information needed for receipts, records, and follow-up.
How we store and share information
Form submissions may be stored in operational tools we use to run the Initiative, including Google Sheets and related Google Workspace services. We may also use hosting and service providers that process data on our behalf under contractual or policy protections.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information when needed to process a donation, operate the site, respond to a lawful request, protect our rights or users, or with your direction.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for basic site function, security, or payment flows. We also use the X (Twitter) advertising pixel to measure campaign performance and conversions, such as completed donations and form signups. That pixel may set or read cookies and send limited event data (for example, that a conversion occurred, a donation amount, and an email address you provide) to X in accordance with X’s policies.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including program administration, donor records, and legal or accounting requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it when practicable.
Your choices
You may choose not to submit optional form fields. If you previously asked for updates, you can request to stop receiving them by contacting us. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
